Switch 2 Continues to Bare it All – New Dock Picture Leaks

So Nintendo can’t catch a break with these leaks! Gaming journalist Laura Kate Dale just dropped a new image showing the back of the Switch 2’s dock, and it’s telling us something pretty interesting about Nintendo’s next console.

This is a new photo I have recieved from a trusted source showing a Switch 2 Dock, featuring visible input and output voltage information (other information obscured). In addition, I have learned that the Switch 2 ships with a 60W charger for use with the dock.

The dock’s got this sleek matte black finish with curved edges, but the real story here is the power specs. We’re looking at a 60W charging cable – that’s a massive jump from the original Switch. In fact, it’s such a big difference that your old Switch charger won’t even cut it for docking the new system.

Dale’s got a solid track record with Nintendo leaks – she nailed a bunch of details about the original Switch back when it was still called NX. That’s why people are taking this seriously, especially since she’s being pretty careful about what she shares. She adamantly told us this is the only image she’s confident enough to run with.

The internet’s been wild with Switch 2 leaks lately, and honestly? It feels like we’re seeing this console get revealed piece by piece before Nintendo even gets the chance. The input voltage is listed at 20 volts with 15 volts output, which basically confirms we’re getting something way more powerful than what we’re playing with now.

Nintendo’s still claiming they’ll show everything by March 2025, but at this rate, what’s even left to reveal? The color of the power LED? (Actually, don’t jinx it – that’ll probably leak tomorrow…)

What do you think about all these leaks? Should Nintendo just come out and show us the whole thing already? Let us know what you think down below.
